Under Your Company ----

Added Trade Debtors (INR) under Trade Debtors in Chart of Accounts.
The new account added is not showing up in Business Partner - Customer

Same problem encountered for Trade Creditors also.

Yes! You need to mark the 'Trade Debtors (INR)' Account as a grouping account. Only then it'll show up in business partner views. Because, it's a top level account for all the business partners under it.

But this is a kind of special account, as it's postable although it's grouping account. Probably, we need to consider making it non-postable.

Hope this helps.

Prashant

Thank You !! It is working now.

I got confused as I was looking into the Trade Debtors(USD/SGD) which
were not checked as grouping account and I tried doing it the same
way...In fact the other accounts I referred to still show up in the
list while defining Business Partners. Hence the confusion..
