Improvements/changes in 1.0-b54 release are:
* fixed an issue where accidently forex amount could be set to zero.
* added report builder for JFreeReports and revised all reports to be
built only through code(25~30 lines!) and no XML, so now it supports
proper currency formats and localisation.
* Recreated with new layout and structure, all the following reports
using the new report builder
- Trial Balance Report
- Detailed Profit and Loss Report
- Standard Profit and Loss Report
- Balance Sheet Report
- Journal Report
- Account Register Report
- Spit Account Entries Report
* Fixed in all the above reports the following issues,
- Refresh button didn't generate the new report
- From and To Dates are not displayed.
- Export excel shows up as blank sheet when opened in MS Excel
* Improved inventory, sales and purchase modules
* changed for all dao's the default transaction type to read-only and
one has to explicitly set read-only to false, if there's any database
writes are to be performed.
The previous release notes were not published here, so here are the
improvements in build 52:
* Added total asset and liability fields to Split Account Register
Dashboard Summary
* Fixed: If the Journal Entry Account is changed, update split entries
also
* Payables/receivables widgets now refresh properly based on journal
entry modifications
* Open Acct register on double click on Account view, Business Partner
view, Split account view
* Modified account register view to look similar to splt acct register
view.
* Added initial products module with products, uoms, categories,
pricelists.
* Created a new dashboards tab for displaying all dashboards of
different modules.
* Added unrealized forex gain/loss to both trial balance and balance
sheet reports.
* Enabled report range selections and modified sql queries to allow
date range selection
* many changes to the structure of code fixing small issues
