Hey Everybody,

I'm finally kinda getting settled in my new digs in NYC...I'll be back in Pasadena for a couple weeks in late-Sept/early-Oct.

I haven't heard anything from anybody lately about TripleSpec! Has there been any progress on getting the sky lines out of the data?  Has anyone other than Phil tried his new code?

anyway, just checking in....

Hey TSPECers,

Babs reported some weirdness with my reduction package, which I'm
currently checking out. When she's happy with her spectra, I can send
out a write up with some A0 spectra or something and I'll let you
judge the quality. It should kill the OH lines, and return an OH
spectra if you want to use it for more precise wavelength calibration.

I may also be in Pasadena in late September. Kelle, if you or your
collabs want to meet, I could do a run through on a slice of your
data.

Mike Cushing's website indicates that he is adapting SpexTool for
Pally TSPEC. Does anybody know the story on this? (SpexTool is a far
more thoughtful a reduction package than mine, btw.)

-Phil
