Let's try this again...
I need to protect art files so that a user can view a high quality PDF for approval but not steal the art and adjust for their purposes (next stop is the RIP for these files) by using hacker programs and PDF manipulation programs (pitstop). We have been told by a large customer that they will be pulling their business in 3 months. We will continue to do business normally in the interim but I wish to tighten security in the mean time. Is there any 3rd party ware that can increase security?

Important: many pre-press workflows WILL NOT WORK if given files with ANY kind of security. If you need to create secured proofs, it needs to be a separate process that doesn't affect what goes to the RIP.
