I am looking for a method of automatically creating pdf files from autocad dwg files as they appear in a specific directory.
Is this possible if so how?

Also I need to create 100's of pdf files from dwg files. I have not been able to do this easily using adobe acrobat writer [the batch processing seems to work for postscript and pdf files only?]. I have found a number of batch processing packages such as Acroplot Pro. However I would prefer to use Adobe as I already have the software, so I would idealy like a plug-in.
Any suggestions gratefully received

Many Thanks

Hi,

you might want to have a look at the Aloaha PDF Suite. You can use the autoprint directory of Aloaha. Just configure the Wrocklage PDF Printer as your system default printer and remove the interactive checkbox in the settings. The autoprint folder will then print every file you drop there to the Wrocklage PDF Printer which will convert it to PDF and save it. Optional you can even digitally sign them.
