According to the sprint schedule OZP IOB was completed 11 June 2015, but I can't find it available as a packaged download.  I understand it is not an official release, but is there a way to get a copy of the IOB as a download for evaluation?  Or is it too raw for public distribution?

There isn’t a packaged download but if you go to the github page (https://github.com/ozone-development/ozp-documentation) you can follow the steps to get a local version running. Each requisite project should have a comprehensive read me that will get you up and going, let me know if any information is unclear or doesn’t work.

Hope that helps!

There is an ozp-release repository in the ozoneplatform organization on GitHub. This repository has a README file that has links to documentation and release packages.  If there is something missing let us know, we will continue to update this README file with additional information regarding OZP releases.

The deployment guide is incomplete and has not been updated for two months.  Is there an ETA on when this will be completed?

Is your intention to deploy the actual system or are you more interested in running the products for an evaluation? We would suggest taking a look at the Build Instructions (https://github.com/ozone-development/ozp-documentation/blob/master/Documentation/OZONE_Build_Instructions_and_Developers_Guide.pdf) and using Vagrant to get an environment up and running. Let us know if there’s any issue with the guide, we’ve had a few people test it out but we’re happy to make changes based on issues that the community discovers.

Stephanie,
I have been running the Vagrant environment for several months now, updating it periodically.  I was hoping to deploy the actual system to test it out.  It sounds like the best course of action is to continue work with the Vagrant environment until the actual system is ready for full deployment.
Thanks for your input!

I know this thread is a little old, but is there an updated developer's guide anywhere?  The link below is a 404 and I am looking for a good "Getting started with OZP and widget development" guide.  I'm fairly familiar with OWF, but OZP is a completely different framework and I need to document the differences here.

Currently, the best “documentation” for writing OZP / IWC widgets are the example widgets provided in the following repository:

https://github.com/aml-development/ozp-demo

Additional documentation is available regarding the usage of the Inter Widget Communication (IWC) API, in the links below:

awesome thanks for links.   Do you have any sense if this is just left to community support now?  Im not clear on how much NextCentury is still supporting this effort now.

FYI, the examples on http://aml-development.github.io/ozp-iwc/1.2.2/ are broken.  All of the sample widgets are either 404 errors from GitHub or expired CodePen pages.

Next Century also plays an active role in supporting the Ozone GOSS (Government Open Source Software) Board and the DGAB (DoD GOSS Advisory Board). Currently, Next Century’s most active involvement is with OWF and OMP. Community contributions to Ozone-related (OWF, OMP, OZP) software, documentation, and web sites are always welcome and appreciated.
