selecting a dashboard does not switch the dashboard to the selected dashboard

Hello,

   I have saved two dashboards and would like to switch to another dashboard from the one currently in use.  I select the switch icon, but it didn't work.  Please help.  I'm using owf 7.1 on redhat linux 6.

Could you give more information? What browser are you using? Do your
browser's dev tools give any more information about the error, such as a
JavaScript error or failed HTTP request? If it does show a failed HTTP
request, do the server logs show any stacktraces?

   I'm using IE 7.  I also have devtools up, but I don't see any errors.

IE7's dev tools are virtually useless. Is it possible for you to investigate
in another browser? If so it would also be useful for you to see if this
issue is specific to IE7. If you have IE8 or IE9, you can use them with the
Document mode set to IE7 to get an experience as similar as possible to IE7,
but with better dev tools.

Other things worth investigating - does this issue only affect your user, or
are all users unable to switch dashboards? If you remove one or both of your
existing dashboards, and create two fresh, empty dashboards, are you able to
switch? What exactly happens when you try to access the dashboard switcher -
nothing?

Ross,

   My application only support IE7 not IE8.  Other users try to switch the desktop and didn't work either.  The steps to produce are:

    -create and save the desktop 1

    -launce couple widgets on desktop

   The application that I'm using only support IE7.  Other users also unable to switch to different desktop from current selected desktop. While I'm on desktop 1, If I select select desktop 2 icon, after the desktop dialog goes away, the desktop 1 remain on my display.
