Hi everybody,

I'm involved with the Tokyo Hackerspace and there will be an upcoming hacking event on the 28th June.

If anybody has some leave coming up and wishes to get a more international hacking experience, then I'd happily encourage you to make plans to come to this event on 28th June. It will be Australian friendly.

For those that don't know, Japan is often described as having one foot five hundred years in the future, and one foot five hundred years in the past. The average of the two being an experience for today.

The way electronics and hacking is done there is just downright fun - for hacking it's like going in a time machine to the future and back.

I'd personally suggest making a (minimum) 3-day trip to Japan with the day before and after set aside for visiting Akihabara - Japan's Electronics Town, or some other Tourism.

Just for other information, I'm giving a talk at Tokyo Hackerspace in two weeks:

So if you can make it, please come along, in June.

Regards

David
