Dear Angus,



Thank you once again for supporting the Powerhouse Museum's application to hold Sydney's first Mini Maker Faire. To update you on current progress, after meeting with Maker Media we have been given approval to proceed with the Faire, and a date has been set for Sunday, November 24th 2013. We're very excited to be getting to work on making the Faire happen, and could not have done this without your early support. Thank you.


Our first stage of active planning towards the Faire in November is a public meetup with makers, tinkerers, crafters and creatives alike to discuss our plans for the Sydney Mini Maker Faire, and to seek input from members of the larger community in what they would like to see come November. The details for the meeting are as follows:

Saturday August 10th, 11am - 1pm

Powerhouse Learning Centre C

Level 2, Powerhouse Museum

500 Harris Street, Ultimo


This meeting is also open to the general public, so please feel free to invite anyone from your networks who you feel would like to be part of the discussion.
