Any news yet about OzEmail providing some type of broadband access.
I have heard they plan to offer some type of ADSL?

Cheers

a bit late, they have missed the boat, telstra ADSL is here now, others
have concert plans and contracts already signed, besides which i would not
trust ozemail to provide the bandwidth to support broadband, they cant even
meet peak demand in many of their pops now, wollongong, penrith and so many
others that i can list them all. look at the email and news server
problems. ozemail is not technically competent enough to provide broadband,
their network does not have the capacity, their techs dont have the skill,
and they dont respect their customers enough, why offer broadband and lose
all those profitable dial up accounts, i can have(will have soon) telstra
ADSL for only about a third more then i am paying now for ozemails crappy
and unreliable service and for that i get a 512kilobits a sec 24/7
connection with no download limit. BTW during that latest email brownout
several messages i sent were lost, never delivered, probably lodged in a
improperly configured buffer somewhere in the decaying and rapidly aging
ozemail network. you might want to check that nothing you sent also got
lost.
