I ordered an item from ozdirect 18 May 2009 and paid $1718.74AUD
(OZD017053), funds cleared 20/05. After many attempts to get in
contact including via email, enquiry ticket, phone, voicemail, letter
and 'live support', the status was finally updated to refund requested
16/06. Countless times since i've requested an update as to when the
refund will be processed. Ozdirect continue to stall most recently on
the 09/07 23 days after the refund was requested i received the
following scripted response. "As our refunds are processed in order of
date paid and requested, your refund may not have been processed
immediately. Please be assured that we will process your refund, and
send you the transaction receipt as soon as the refund has been
completed.". Once ozdirect have received your money they ignore you
completely.
Ozdirect is currently under investigation by the ACCC.
