Hi everyone,

ACHM are seeking EOI’s from suitably qualified archaeologists (min hons degree or equivalent) for ONGOING fieldwork opportunities on a range of interesting and important projects across the Pilbara.

 

We are looking for (i) experienced team leaders, (ii) experienced excavators / surveyors and (iii) more junior team members willing to learn.

 

The various on-going projects include rock shelter excavations, archaeological survey, site recording and salvage. There are opportunities available for the right individuals for engagement well beyond 2022.

 

This Traditional Owner led work is being undertaken in areas renowned for its rich cultural heritage, ancient archaeology, and its incredible beauty.

 

A full manual driver’s licence, 4x4 quals and senior first aid are all required (or will need to be obtained).

 

Location is entirely flexible as this work is all fly in fly out, and there are various modes of engagement / remuneration available to the right applicants.
