Heritage Consultant Position – Artefact Heritage

A position for a motivated, enthusiastic heritage consultant with a focus on Aboriginal archaeology is currently available at Artefact Heritage. 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about archaeology and cultural heritage management, with the drive to advance their professional skills.The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience in consulting, although talented graduates are encouraged to apply.

Artefact Heritage is based in Pyrmont, and conduct projects throughout New South Wales. We are a fast growing organisation who is developing an enviable portfolio, working with many major clients state-wide on a diverse range of projects.

The ideal candidate for this position will have;

•        An honours degree in archaeology (or equivalent).
  
•        Experience in consulting archaeology would be looked upon favourably.
  
•        Relevant fieldwork experience.
  
•        Knowledge of NSW heritage legislation.
  
•        The ability to work well in a team environment.
  
•        The ability to work independently, with initiative.
  
•        Excellent communication skills.
  
•        Demonstrated exceptional writing skills.
  
•        The ambition to grow quickly as a professional in a fast paced and supportive team environment.
  
•        A NSW drivers licence.
