This is a notice to announce that tickets for the Sydney Historical Archaeology Practitioner’s (SHAP) workshop are now available to purchase.

The event is hosted by Austral Archaeology and is to be held on Friday 21 May 2021 at the Liverpool TAFE. This one-day meeting is open to students, professionals and interested members of the general public, and forms one of the events in the NSW National Archaeology Week programme.

Workshop Theme

 

With over 75% of the population no longer living in the traditional heart of Sydney, the spread of development has led to many of our projects now being in areas long considered to be the distant edge of Sydney. As such, we offer the theme for the workshop of ‘Archaeology: On the Edge’.
