Fieldwork Opportunities

ACHM are seeking EOI’s from suitably qualified archaeologists (min hons degree or equivalent) for ONGOING fieldwork opportunities on a range of interesting and important projects across the Pilbara and South Australia. 

 

We are looking for (i) experienced team leaders, (ii) experienced excavators / surveyors and (iii) more junior team members willing to learn. 

 

The various on-going projects include rock shelter excavations, archaeological survey, site recording and salvage. There are opportunities available for the right individuals for engagement well beyond 2022. 

 

This Traditional Owner led work is being undertaken in areas renowned for rich cultural heritage, ancient archaeology, and incredible beauty. 

 

A full manual driver’s licence, 4x4 quals and first aid quals are all required (or will need to be obtained).

 

Your home base is entirely flexible as this work is predominantly fly in fly out, and there are various modes of engagement and great remuneration available to the right applicants.
