@RhysC asked this on twitter (http://twitter.com/RhysC/status/5499097956)

a want an Aussie version of #Lostechies #devlicious #codebetter... no community here. :( well not like in those necks of the woods

Which got me to wondering....  If you could put that list together, who would be on it – or would you come up with an blank sheet?

I’m asking, because I’ve thought the same thing myself at times and the OzAlt.Net blogger list was an attempt to get something like that started, though I would hardly call it successful.

Richard Banks

I like the general idea, but I think the success of that would really depend on the calibre of people you got into the community.

Or to put it another way (ala Groucho): I don't know if I'd want to join a community that would have me as a member. ;-)

I guess that’s what I’m asking – who would those people be (if any)?

Well from this end of the country I'd nominate Rhys himself: http://rhysc.blogspot.com
and probably Colin (Abstract Code) Scott: http://abstractcode.com

I'd personally like to see something like Los Techies where they have a topic of the month and all of the bloggers talks about the same thing. It is interesting to see different perspectives on the same topic.

The thing about the codebetters and deviliciouses is that they talk generally about improving development, and frameworks and things and I couldn't name many Aussie bloggers who talk to that level, as opposed to the "I ran into this problem at work..."

That or guys who blog often.

I know Paul Batum was doing some great stuff around the Reactive Framework and other topics, and Paul Stovell is usually good about framework stuff like his Magellan and Bindable Linq.

Tech Talk Blogs used to be a good aggregator, but last time I checked, that had died off.

I find Mark Needham's stuff very good: http://www.markhneedham.com/blog/

Hey guys,
Could be a van discussion, maybe a lead in at least?
