Paul, I had the same concerns. I think it is a 'Getting Started' but more like 'How to Get Started Doing Harder Stuff'. I would expect something similar to the 'File -> New Company' talk that Hanselman gave.

If you guys are swapping it might be worth updating the booking.

Give in...@msregistration.com and email with the event reference number, say you are sending someone else in your place, and can you update the name of the attendee to xxxx. 

That will avoid any id problems.
