Does anyone who attended (or who wished that they attended) last night have any feedback about moving things forward?

A venue has been offered and that is a huge start.

It seems the big decision is to either:

a) Resume monthly meetings on a weeknight after work... most likely with more variation in the content and format. Think a mix of lightning talks, katas and plain-ol' straight-up presentations.

b) Hold less regular (quarterly?), long-form meetings on a weekend day... being half day or full day could be hackfests, mini open spaces etc.

I personally lean towards 'b' however I can appreciate that weekends can be tough for some. The idea of being less regular is that people will have more lead time on dates and can hopefully plan around them better.

Thoughts, people?

Why would anyone want to be less regular?  http://instantrimshot.com/

I'd like to try b) and see what happens. We can always go back to a) later if we want to. Brisbane has many a)s, but few b)s.
