Watercolor Society of Alabama Members Showcase Certificate of Recognition

Art on the Square Athens Second Place

Watercolor Society of Alabama 71st National Exhibition Award of Excellence

Tennessee Art League Central South Art Exhibition Zenora Duffy and Frances Kromer Memorial Award

Huntsville Art League Collector's Draw First Place

My works were selected for 15 national and regional exhibitions.

The juror for the Montana Watercolor Society Exhibition Carla O'Connor wrote "On Placing the top award to Yuri Ozaki's 'Provider 1,' I was struck by how the artist dealt with this heavy, large fallen tree with such delicacy, almost whisper, which I saw as a very risky way of dealing with such an organic subject matter of such size." She is an internationally famous artist whom I admire very much, so I was very excited about her comment.

I am still struggling, but I could not have gotten where I am now without your support. I would like to express my gratitude and wish you the best for 2013.
