Hello everyone!
News and upcoming events:
-My painting "Peace" received the Jack Richeson Award at Pikes Peak Watercolor Society International Watermedia "Legacy" Exhibition
-Sidewalk Arts Stroll is happening at Constitution Village this year. I will be there Thursday June 20th 4:30-8:00 p.m.
I will also be there in July and August.
-I will be at Summer Art Strolls in Athens, AL June 28th, 4:00-8:00 p.m.
-I will be at SmART Fest 2013 at Huntsville Art League June 29th 10:00 a.m.-3:00p.m.
-I am planning to give lessons at Huntsville Art League in fall. Details to come.
Off Art news:
-I ran 5k at Celebrating Growing Huntsville after not running for nearly 15 years!
-I became the first female to finish the Hobbs Island circumnavigation swim approximately 5 miles. (I swim regularly, so it was a lot easier than running 5k.)
One of my childhood dreams was swimming the English Channel. It may come true someday?
