Hey, I'm Bill Burke, Java developer, from JBoss division of Red Hat. I'm lead of the Resteasy project (
jboss.org/resteasy) and also have an OReilly book out on JAX-RS.
I'm interested in sane security protocols for writing RESTful applications. Unfortunately, I'm also an enterprise guy. The "enterprise" is starting to adopt RESTful principles, but a big hurdle is security. While I'm planning to code support for OAuth 1 and 2.x into our frameworks (well, as much as I can given their lack of interoperability), I'm also very interested in collaborating with a group to develop protocols that are focused and solve specific use cases, rather than the one-size-fits all approach that seems to be prevalent in many standards efforts.
