Ferrules on eBay

Hi guys,

I'm trying to track a set of size 12 ferrules and not having much luck.  It doesn't look like Goldenwitch have any, Mud Hole want $30 postage and the only others are these

Pat,

I wouldn't buy them. Contact the blokes at HCE they carry CSE ferrules via REC. Or join a group buy with a few other blokes. If you put in an order and ask you might get a few others who want only a few things but together it might make it worthwhile I'll get a bit of hardware and silk.

Hi guys,

Well it looks like there will be an absolute glut of 7' 3/4/5 wt rods being fished worldwide this season.  Goldenwitch, Mudhole and Nick are all out of stock.  Luckily, Nick is getting some stock in the next week or so I've put my hand up for one.

HELLO EVERYBODY, I HAVE BEEN OUT OF ACTION FOR A WHILE BUT I KNOW I HAVE A FEW SETS OF SIZE 12 AND A WHOLE BUNCH OF OTHERS THAT I PURCHASED FROM GOLDEN WITCH & BELLINGER ETC (from size 10 to size 18) Heaps of hardware & silks etc

I am going back into hospital on Thursday for some Angiogram and Angioplasty (& possible Open Heart surgery-but I will let you know what happens) and if anybody wants items I will let them know what I have and costs etc... (I will charge only local postage) as I purchased large quantities about 3 or 4 years ago.

Please let me know if there is any interest and I will go thru my items first chance I can get and let you know ASAP and will be fair with first in first served but I will try and spread evenly if I have enough to go round etc.

Thanks David, look forward to a catch up with you after the procedure and hope it is as you say but I have so many things wrong with me now I doubt if I am even going to be able to fly fish any more.

I have given up making Bamboo and am selling off all my Bamboo making equipment (Members have been picking up a lot of equipment, tools, raw materials, but I still have a lot of items left like SNAKE brand guides, (All of the originals before Mike McCoy made the changes. (So, I have the best stuff)

Bamboo, (best quality) Silks, reel seats (Bellinger mostly in all my gear) and etc.. I will try and make a list after my hospital visit which may take a while depending what they find and have to do etc..

Hello Laurie and everybody,

I had the Angiogram procedure and whilst it was very scary (I am a pussy Cat) everything went quite well.  I have 5 blockages but none of these are major and no Stents applied. So Surgeon thinks they can clean these up a bit with Medications etc And if that doesn't work, then Stents.

So I worried too much (as usual) but I still have to find out about a "Leaky Valve" and something else but I cant remember what it was as I was a bit groggy and will have to wait for the appointment with my Cardiologist to find out all the details.. (Couple or 3 weeks hence.) Thank you all for kind words.

 

I do have some size 12, 2 tip Ferrule sets (Golden Witch TICH) but only 2.  I have about 20 other sets, I also have a few Bellinger reel seats (exotic inserts) and a bunch of other stuff so I will attempt to make a list over the coming next few days and email these to everyone as I will not be able to use these anymore.

I will have some more items for sale once I have had my breath back and do a bit of unearthing and unpacking etc I still have some AA lovely Bamboo "Andy Royer" Culms... I still have a bunch of tools I doubled up on etc and I will work thru these over the coming weeks etc..

Hello Martin, Thanks for your kind words and I really appreciate the support too!

I do have some tools and I will work my way thru my stuff and email you with another list to see if there is anything that might be useful to you etc...

I still have those planes we were talking about a while ago but I had put them away for you and then promptly forgot about them after my illness did the big slide downhill.

I had Acute Heart Failure to top things off, I had collapsed with Pneumonia and a Very serious dose of one of those Flus you read about and pray they dont get inside Australia and wouldnt you know it, I got it! Meta-Pneumo something something etc but for about a week or 2 I found myself fighting for my life and it was very scary I can tell you. I had even received a couple of rounds of the Shock devices call Defribulation or something to get my heart restarted at least on 2 separate ocassions etc. So, Here I am, hopefully out the other side and finished with the very serious stuff (touch wood) and all I need at the moment is some rest and recuperation and I should be up and running in a couple of months or so.. Here is a list of some of the components I had left over from last year when I sold off a lot of tools and materials etc..  I will dig out those World War II era Stanly 9 1/2 Block Planes. They are both still in the original Boxes and tissue and for all intents and purposes, they are almost Brand new. One has never even been out of the Box even. So, I will give them a wipe over with a bit of oil and take a couple of photos and email them up to you to peruse. Anyway take a look at this list as I have skun the prices down to a bit below my actual cost and those prices were 4 or 5 years old and wholesale bulk stock purchase price and NO FREIGHT from the USA as I havent passed that on as well.
