Just let me know if there is agreement and I’ll post them.

Wow, I’m really out of it. I thought our meeting minutes were posted on the web for all to read. If not, then I would vote to post them. In my opinion, more info is always better than less.

Hello everyone,
<BR
Sorry I hadn’t added the three latecomers. These are corrected.
As to the procedures, I asked around at the beginning of the year but there really were no procedures so I invented some to at least have some records to pass on next year. I tried to get some documents on our website but nothing happened, so I created the google group. All the docs are filed electronically on this google group and I would invite others to file anything you have passed out at meeting. Other than that, I am not sure if there are records from prior years. I haven’t seen any.
Just FYI, there is also a binder of minutes that sits atop the OCC mailboxes, lest we be accused of being computer-centric.

We actually used to send the minutes out in hard copy each month (of course, at the time we had about 150 fewer kids) -- I think it would be great to re-start this practice. It wouldn't be that hard to send them to Cristina Mossi for posting.
Great idea, Maria Elena! It would be especially good to start this again since we're getting calls for transparency from the community.

Hello everyone,
I'm not sure if this has ever been discussed...... however I was wondering yesterday and briefly asked Margaret as well, why the OCC minutes are not posted on the Oyster website and then circulated as a link to the whole community; similar to the Friday folder. I know the LSRT recently began posting their minutes on the website in the interest of keeping the whole community abreast of their discussions. If there are genuine concerns in the community regarding recent events and some directed at the OCC Board then would it be helpful to communicate more directly with community by letting everyone know of the Board's discussions? I'm copying Wendy Jacobson to ask her about the LSRT's experience with this mode of communication.
Any thoughts?

Thanks Maria for offering to translate! And, you are right, Margaret’s minutes are always very clear, concise, as well as timely. So, many thanks to Margaret as well for a job well done!

> yes, LSRT began posting minutes on the website this year. Our only
challenge has been timeliness since the minutes from one month aren't
usually approved until the next month and we don't post them until
they've been approved. I know one parent who reports she reads them!
warms my heart...
