I think we also need to discuss the recent events at Adams, i.e., the threatening behavior of an Adams child toward other students as well the SHINE program.

Hi Margaret!  & thanks for doing all the work of putting this together --

 

I'm writing to support Marcia's suggestion, which actually was twofold:

 

1) Adams event, which I see is now scheduled for discussion;  AND

 

2)  SHINE program.  I strongly think this should be on the agenda, even though as I saw from Friday folders there is a meeting scheduled on this topic for the 22nd (testing week!)

It has become obvious that the SHINE program presents, at the very least, very significant problems of implementation. 

 

It may be that the SHINE program should be discontinued entirely at our school.  Meanwhile, I move that there be no more SHINE classes while we sort these issues out.
