Thank you for applying to attend the Oxford International Model United
Nations conference 2010!


This email is to confirm that we have received your registration
application. Please read the following message carefully, as it
outlines what to expect in the coming weeks. A timeline of these
important dates is available here: http://oximun.org/register.php

Please note that this email is not a confirmation of your place at our
conference. We will only be able to let you know whether you have
secured a place for our conference after Registration has closed, and
applications have been processed


1. Application Status:


You will receive an email by 30th June with a notification of your
application status. If your application has been unsuccessful, you
will be placed on a Waiting List, and notified immediately, should a
place become available. Please understand that due to the sheer number
of applications OxIMUN receives, there is a chance that your
delegation will not have a place at our conference.


2. Country Allocations:

If your application has been successful, you will be notified of
your Country Allocation by 15th July. While we endeavour to ensure
your country preferences are taken into account, we cannot guarantee
that you will receive one of your preferences. Depending on demand we
may also “split” allocation of countries such as the Permanent 5
Security Council members between multiple delegations.

3. Payment:


Please make payment on behalf of your delegation (26 GBP/person) as
soon as you receive the country allocation, but no later than 15th
August. Payment serves to confirm your attendance and reserve the
country allocations. Payments made after the August 15th deadline
will incur a Late Fee. Please refer to the Payment page for a summary
of Fees and Deadlines: http://oximun.org/payment.php.


4. Delegation Information:


The country allocations email sent in July will be accompanied by a
"Delegation Matrix Form" for you to specify the names of your
individual delegates, and the committees on which each delegate will
sit as well as their Year and Programme of Study. We recognise that
many delegations will not be finalized until the autumn/fall term and
so ask that you complete and email this form back to us by 15th
September. Unfortunately, if you do not return the form in time, we
will assume that you have cancelled your participation at the
conference, and venture to select a delegation from the waiting list.

Please ensure that you inform the OxIMUN Secretariat before this date
if any delegate in your delegation is unable to attend, in order to
receive a refund (excl bank transfer charges). We regret to announce
that No refunds will be available after September 15th.



IMPORTANT:


Please be aware of the requirements to enter the United Kingdom, as
set out by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. For information about
the UK visa requirements and application process, please visit
http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk. Kindly do not contact the Secretariat
requesting an invitation letter for this purpose until after you have
received an email confirming your place at OxIMUN, that is- after June
30th.

Wir wollten jetzt bald schonmal unsere Flüge nach London buchen (die
aus Linz sind super by the way :D) und ich wollte nur mal fragen, ob
wir nach der Konferenz alle zusammen zurückfliegen wollen? Hinflug
wird wohl etwas schwierig, aber wäre doch nett wenn wir alle zusammen
zurück kommen !!

Also lasst uns das mal bald entscheiden - dann sind die guten Flüge
noch available :)

Moin moin,

Finde das ist eine sehr gute Idee, die Sache ist die, dass wir noch keine endgültige Zusage bis zum 30. Juni haben. Ich würde vorschlagen, dass wir uns Anfang Juni einmal zusammen setzen und die nächsten Schritte besprechen.
