Hab's soeben probiert und es funktioniert WUNDERBAR!

Notepad++ is a great tip.  Programmers of any language on Windows should try this out.

Infact I'm gonna setup a global .vimrc, so the settings will be valid for all my shop projects on the OXID_VM

dann tu (a) den vim auf color mode setzen, (b) tab-spacing beim vim so
einstellen, wie du's haben willst oder (c) notepad++ runterladen und
den unter windows nehmen :)
meine editoren sind immer auf tab=4 gestellt (vim: default=8!) und ich
nehme echte tabs, keine spaces.

für (a) und (b) müsstest du in die vim-confg (.vimrc) schreiben:

syntax enable
set tabstop=4

und für (c) auf http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ gehen und das programm
runterladen.
