We could still use a few volunteers beginning at 4:15 pm. Here is a
form to sign up:

We will also offer tail lights -- with a new or renewal Oxford Cycling
Club Membership (starting at $10 student memberships).
The lights are simple but bright -
<http://ecom1.planetbike.com/3042.html> more to be seen around town
than to illuminate an completely dark ride.
To streamline the operation and avoid the crowds of last year, we will
organize the event at 5 stations, beginning with (1) a registration
table facing Depot Street, participants will then pick up a number and
walk their bikes through the alley between the Depot and the Beer
Distributor. Along the back side of the Depot we will (2) register
bikes with UPD, Do (3) a quick mechanical check and (4) lead a one-lap
ride around the parking lot -- reminding participants to ride on the
right side of the road and use hand signals. After the ride we will
(5) hand out the lights. This should break things up and keep the
distribution more orderly. (see attached diagram)
Here is what we need. You can both get a light and volunteer!
