Dear Oxford Cyclists,
Now that the graduates are moving on, and the Phase 2 bike lane project is approaching completion we'll have a little more room on the roads to celebrate Bike Month. Starting this afternoon. We'll ride less than an hour, very easy in street clothes. Everyone is welcome. We'll stick to campus, paths and bikelanes around town.

Sundays at 3 pm from the Oxford Depot - May 12, 19, 26
Bike to Work Day is Friday. We'll be setting up on the square near city hall and giving away water bottles coffee and breakfast snacks. Still looking for a few volunteers to help great riders and bring baked goods. If we have enough volunteers we could set up a second refreshment station (on campus) let me know at mi...@loupathways.org if you want to help.

Finally the Bike League is sponsoring a Bike Challenge through the endomondo. http://nationalbikechallenge.org/join.html. Its a free smartphone app (just ignore the opportunity to sign up for premium features). You can sign up individually, through the University of Mississippi. (So far Ole Miss is in ~4000th place in the schools category)
Or if enough people are interested we can form a team for Oxford Cycling.
The challenge runs through Sept. We'll push to get students involved when they arrive in the fall.
