How does this look?

Hmm. I'm not sure what I'm seeing, but it's a start! Can people
change the email address under which they are listed? Also, is this
like a listserve where you can choose to get either a summary once in
awhile or to get every message?

You ought to invite Katie to join.

I *think* you can choose to get a digest.I'm still figuring out how.
Once we get some discussion going, it won't look so bare! If you want
to join under a different email address you can do that. I can invite
anyone, I think I've set it so that users can invite anyone, and
anyone who is interested should be able to join at any time.

Hey! I'm here! Looks great - Very exciting. To change your personal
options, just go to Edit my Membership -- You can change your primary
e-mail address there too. I'll spend some time looking around the
site.

O.K. I'm in the group under my own email address now too. I'm feeling
old - this is not second nature! But I do think this is a good way to
go, and I see lots of uses for it. So, my main question is this.
Given that some people in the group will not choose to or will not be
able to figure out how to use this list, what do you see as the best
use for it? In other words, when do I send an email to the group
email list vs. to the discussion group?

I don't know the answers to your questions. But I could just sign up
everyone who is on the email list. They would automatically get the
email digest. Then we could experiment with which means of
communicaiton works better.
