Hello ye rational folk,

I'm normally merely a quiet reader of the discussions on this mailing list, but this time I seek your help.
I'm trying to learn about Bayesian methods mostly through reading Jaynes' book.
However, it seems to raise a lot of questions and I was wondering if you were interested in discussing it, online or in person.
To be a bit more concrete:
- Is there an online forum where people discuss Bayesian statistics?
- Where would you turn with your questions?

Any help/would be much appreciated, my ignorance needs reducing :)

Regards,

Hi Kris,

I for one would be more than happy to discuss questions you have on
this list. In terms of internet forums, the first place I'd turn would
be lesswrong.com/r/discussion, though I'd recommend getting to terms
with the first few chapters of Jaynes before delving into the articles
on lesswrong (others may disagree on the last note).

I'd heartily recommend Jaynes' tome and would also be more than happy
to engage in its discussion on this list.
Best,
Mike
