Social Thursday: 7:30pm @ the King’s Arms, 40 Holywell St.

Hi all,

This week’s social night will be held at the old student favourite, the King’s Arms, at 40 Holywell St., across the street from the Weston Library and the Sheldonian. It’s the white building on the corner where Broad Street and Parks Road meet.

This place was first built in the early 1600s, and it’s all dark wood inside and lots of (reasonably-sized) rooms with doors. They serve food til 9:30pm and I’ve asked for a quieter table, so look behind the bar for us if you come along.

Lots of different friendly faces from the hackspace’s previous lives still drop into these,  and there are always ideas to be discussed, so if you’ve been thinking of coming along, there’re only a few Thursdays left in the summer. ;) We’d love to see you.
