== OGN 14 ==

Hope you enjoyed OGN14 as much as I did: more so, in fact, as I
wouldn't want all the attendees to be as stressed as I always end up
being.

We had some great speakers, and the free drinks from Guardian Open
Platform went down just fine, so thanks to them for their generosity.
Thanks as well to the Jericho Tavern - who apparently had to restock
the Innis & Gunn bitter half way through the evening - for keeping the
upstairs fully watered.

And the books from Apress all found a home during the end-of-night
raffle, which kept the majority of you sticking around till the very
end. So thanks to all our sponsors, including of course Torchbox for
venue, tech and infrastructure; and to Moo for their almost
indestructible drinks tokens.

We'll have the slides and videos up on the site as soon as we can:

== We're happy to help... Peter Ferne ==

The very obliging Peter Ferne stepped off the stage the moment his
microslot's five minutes were up, which was kind of him but a bit
extreme given that he hadn't come to a natural end, talking about
Happy To Help, Jiva Technologies' social search initiative for
harnessing the wisdom of the crowd. So, in gratitude for his rigid
adherence to our generally quite ropey timetable, here's a few words
from Peter for anyone who felt short-changed by his abrupt exit from
the JT stage:
