The purpose of the group

Dear all,

The purpose of this group, as I understand it, is to help us seek
social justice in areas God has put on our hearts. One of the ways we
hope it will do that is to help prevent duplication of effort. By that
I mean that if one group are running a lunch for homeless people on
the first Wednesday of each month, then rather than starting another
one then, people who wish to help in this area would have the option
to join in with the existing group.

To that end, I hope you will invite people you know with a heart for
Social Justice. it would be good to get a list of what is going on in
Oxford and who is running each enterprise - that person would maintain
the information about the project they are involved with.

Hopefully this will lead to a self-maintaining ubiquitous resource
which will better equip us to serve God.
