Subject: Bayesian autumn school at CIRM, 30 Oct. - 3 Nov. 2023

Dear friends,

We are happy to announce that the pre-registration for the 2023 Bayesian autumn school is now open! It will be held at CIRM, Marseille, France, within the beautiful Parc National des Calanques, from 30 October to 3 November 2023. It is particularly targeted at early career researchers, such as PhD students and postdocs, but all are welcome to attend.

This research school will feature masterclasses on Sequential Monte Carlo and on Bayesian causal inference, tutorials on Nimble and Pyro, a number of invited and contributed talks, a poster session, and several social events.

Confirmed speakers:

* Masterclasses: Silvia Chiappa (DeepMind) and Nicolas Chopin (ENSAE)

* Tutorials: Gabriel Cardoso (Polytechnique), Yazid Janati (Télécom SudParis) and Chloé Nater (Norwegian Institute for Nature Research)

* Invited talks: François Caron (Oxford), Marta Catalano (Warwick), Sophie Donnet (INRAE), Jean-Michel Marin (Montpellier) and Fabrizia Mealli (Florence)

Details are available on the conference website.

If you wish to attend, please pre-register by 12 June. Note that the total number of attendees is limited by the capacity of CIRM. We will start to confirm attendance around late June. Financial support is available to cover room and board expenses for some participants; please apply when you pre-register.

For any queries, you can e-mail <bayesat...@gmail.com>.

Could you please forward this announcement to people who might be interested?

All the best,
