Question for the Cambridge folk:
New admits need to send in a Financial Undertaking Form, which says we
understand the financial obligation of being a student and identifies
our source of funding. We're given multiple options and suboptions for
our source of funding, but the one we should pick is, I believe, this
one:
"I confirm that one or more of the following will be responsible both
for the payment of my fees and for funding my living costs in full and
that
-I have been given an award by a Research Council. I have enclosed/
sent official confirmation of this award to the Board of Graduate
Studies.
-I have been given an award by the Cambridge Trusts. I have enclosed/
sent official confirmation of this award to the Board of Graduate
Studies.
-I have been given an award by a Department, College, or other
organisation not mentioned above. Details of this organisation are
given below and a formal letter of confirmation from the organisation
is attached."
My question: Which of the suboptions should we select? What "formal
letter of confirmation" should we use? Cambridge admissions has
indicated multiple times that they cannot accept copies of documents,
but must have originals, so does that affect what evidence can be
used?
Thanks!
