Hi everyone!
I did some poking but I could not find anything that exactly matched my query, so I am looking for some help. I am making an age-depth model for a column sample from an archaeological site with 20 radiocarbon ages spanning 3 m. However, I have one stratum that is of great interest for our paleoenvironmental data that had no dateable material in it in our column. I have about 20 ages on that stratum from elsewhere in the site, some of which are relatively close to our column, but because the site topography is sloping, cannot be incorporated simply by depth because these ages would appear out of stratigraphic order. What would be the most appropriate way for me to incorporate those ages into my age depth model (is there any appropriate way?)? I was considering trying to use the boundaries from my site phase model in some way?
Thanks!
Jessi
