Does Oxcal give any specific treatment to deal with the "Hallstatt plateu" issue? If so, is it handled with the KDE_Model?

Hi Mike, difficulties with the Hallstatt plateau are the same with all calibration plateaus to varying degrees. There is no specific program or tool to deal with them. The best approach is to build a model with additional priors that can reduce the uncertainty of individual calibrations. There are a number of published examples for dealing with plateaus and specifically the Hallstatt, probably the most (in)famous of plateaus.
