best way to insert luminescence dates

Probably an easy question, but I see some differences in how different users do this (or their results come out differently.
So, what is the best command/method for inserting luminescence dates into OxCal We have been using C_Date, then subtracting the value from 2020 CE, so that a lum date of 4000 +- would be -1880+-
This is in a model that also has the occasional C-14 date

Hi Rob,
I would suggest a one-step approach. C_Date can work for this, but also a normally distributed Date. For example, for a date of 1300±90 that uses 2020 CE as present:
Date("TL lab code __",N(2020-1300,90));
