interpretation of the Order query results

Hi Christopher and Groups,
I was wondering if you could suggest some bibliographical references where the use of the Order query is done.
Further, I would like to know more about the interpretation of the query's results.
If one is going to use the Order's results to assess the probability that, for instance, a phase's boundary is earlier or later than another phase's boundary, what value can be thought as providing an acceptable "threshold"?

I hope my poor English manages to make my point.
