How can I best portray the overlap or gap between subsequent phases?

Hey, so I have set up a sequential model of three phases with boundaries. However there are way too many individual dates within each phase. For a better graphical display I want a combined curve for each phase. I know there's KDE plot and KDE model, can I apply them to each phase and then display the results below each other?

Which one do I choose?

Yes - I think you can do what you want fairly simply.

If you already have the model set up with 3 phases and associated boundaries then you just need to take the following steps:

- Go to the Code veiw of the model
- Edit this manually to replace each "Phase" verb with "KDE_Plot" - you might want to copy the code to a text editor to do this and copy it back.
- Re run the model
- In the output table press the Show: [Structure] button and then the Sekct: [Visible] button - that will only select the Boundaries and KDE_Plots.
- Select [View > Plot dates]

Either KDE_Plot of (deprecated) Sum can be used to replace Phase in any model without affecting the model itself.
