Hi, everyone.

I would like to visualize multiple dates obtained from a single dwelling site using the Multiple plot function in OxCal.

For example:
R_Date("DW1", 31770, 190);
R_Date("DW2", 1065, 22);
R_Date("DW3", 380, 30);

However, since the dates vary significantly, is there a way to change the x-axis of the multiple plot to a logarithmic scale?

Thanks in advance!

No there is not a logarithmic age scale option. However, you can use [File > Export] from the output window to save the distributions for plotting in other ways.

There was in early versions of OxCal the option to use a 1/age scale but this was not used and did not make it into more recent versions. For any such approach the results would depend heavily on what you define as present - using 1950.5 would not work well as dates might straddle that at the young end and in any case it is purely arbitrary.

Best wishes

Christopher
