Baseball Season Beginning - Help needed for a successful season

Calling all parents, helpers, and volunteers:

The baseball and softball seasons are starting to get into a rhythm and we have several special events that we need your help with. These events are fun for the kids and make our club a fun and unique. However, they do not get done without assistance by volunteers like you. 

This year, we need people to own / run the special events that we have. Specifically, we need leaders for the following events:

1. Chinooks game (as of now, we are planning to attend the June 30 game as a group). 

2. The Chinooks  “take-over-your-field event” (currently planned for June 19)

3. Photos - coordinate with Andy McGee for dates, times, and issues. 

4. Tournament on June 22. - recruit teams, coordinate field crews, etc. 

Other fun special events that we would like to do but need help with are: 100 inning game, family kickball game, home fun derby, etc. 

Without leaders, these events will likely not happen. 

Thanks you for your support so far and I am looking forward to a great season with a lot of fun events for everyone this year. If you are able to help lead any of these events, please let me know.

Hello all,

We are still in need of help in the concession stand tomorrow evening, 5/14 from 5:30-8ish at Oak Park for the West Bend Defenders game.  

Also, there are many games for the OWSBA season that  need concession stand help as well.  We are asking each family to sign up for 2-3 shifts.  We can’t run concessions without everyone’s assistance!

Good evening!

Just a reminder to please sign-up to help with concessions at either Oak Park or Fireman’s Park for the 2019 season.  The links to the Sign-up Genius is on the OWSBA website (owsba.com) under Concessions.  

We still have open concession shifts including 2 at Fireman’s Park tomorrow night (6/25) for the second game (CP Warriors 2) and 2 at Oak Park for the second game (Little League).  We can’t run concessions without volunteers.  The profits go towards equipment, paying umpires, field improvements and etc.  

A big thank you to those families that have already worked a shift or are signed up for a future date.
