The NYCGA website requires new groups to post a mission statement. I'd
like to propose the following:
The OWS Transportation Operations group will be responsible for
facilitating transportation for the Occupy Wall Street Movement.
Transportation will coordinate with Occupiers and Working groups to
assist them in any transportation needs that they might have. From
cars to trucks and busses, Transportation will keep OWS mobile.
This statement can also be found under the transport.ows google docs.
It is open for all to see and comment. I hope that this document will
get on the agenda of our Saturday 1/14 60 Wall St. meeting and be
consented upon.
