Hello Everyone,   The final report for the historic district is proceeding well and furiously.  I could use some help in final writing of some documents if any is willing to volunteer and perform promptly as we plan on turning this in by the end of June.    Tom, I think we need a meeting at the end of the month for all to look over the documents we are submitting and to be well versed to answer questions at the public hearing.   In looking through the Public Act 169 online today, I noticed some things I was not aware of.  It states in forming a Historic District Commission that "It can be formed anytime, but most  certainly not later than the time the first historic district is established by legilation of the local government unit."   We should all have names to submit to Tom for recommendation to City Council for appointment to this Commission.  The critera are that they must be resident of the local  unit (Owosso) and that at least one member should be a graduate of an accredited school of architecture if possible.   Scott Newman is a natural for this commission.   Other recommendations?   Send them to Tom.
