I have had contact with the Shrine Hospital at Greenville.
When I first joined the Shrine Klown unit there were a lot of football games
and parades in the fall. From Labor Day until Christmas I was only home for
a couple of weekends. My wife was getting a little disturbed. That spring
the unit made a visit to the hospital. We entertained the kids while our
wives visited with them.
When we walked out my wife turned to me and said "Never again will I
complain about what you do for those kids."
It's a Noble undertaking.
