Hello Jean-François

As always, thanks for all the work you put into the system. Version 4 is working really well and provides a more streamlined interface that is less prone to user error, even for inexperienced users.

One thing we have noticed is that we end up with a lot of unused screen space on the scoreboard, since our sessions rarely have more than 10 or 12 athletes.

Just wondering if there is a way to increase the scoreboard font size in this situation to take advantage of the available space and, more importantly, make the text more readable from a distance.

Will see what I can do.

The puzzle is that there are many columns, and the software is used in countries where very long composite last names are used (South America), or else very long team names are used (Russia), so the issue is that pretty much all the width is taken.
Plus the current trend is towards multiple age groups where people want to see all the ranks from all the age groups together (Middle East, South America).
And the bottom part is supposed to show the leaders from previous groups, and records (one day it will show records)
And my local federation had the opposite tendency (cramming 20 persons in a single group -- that's where I drew the line).

I may end up creating yet another layout for small groups, short team names, no records and no leaders.

Thanks for the input.

Actually stumbled on something that might help.
Under Firefox, if you go full screen and use "Ctrl+" (thats "hold down control, then also hold down shift, then press "=" on a US keyboard) several times in a row, the display will go slightly quirky but at 300% zoom you will get quite big characters.
For the technical folks in the crowd, it the responsive styling interfering with proportional font.  It's hard to do both at the same time.
Not elegant, but effective.

What about a way to configure which columns are visible?  I would gladly give up the start number, individual lift rankings, and possibly even DOB and team columns, if it meant the scoreboard was readable from the back of the room.

At some point I will need to make the scoreboard configurable (show leaders or not, show records or not -- when I finally get to do records, etc.)
The technology used to create these views is evolving in the development framework I'm using so I've been holding off until things stabilize a bit.

Currently I would have to create a different scoreboard altogether (which I may yet do)
