For non-Masters, the "Scoreboard, Multiple Age Groups" button should work out of the box.  For example:
image.png
This is for a competition that gives medals for each lift, that is can be turned off and just the total ranks will show.

For Masters, you would need each column to be the championship, and each cell to be the rank for the category in that championship.
The system does not currently do that, and there is currently no way to have separate live scoreboards per championship.
So you're stuck with one scoreboard only.

I had never been asked for your "separate columns per championship" before, and in fact, the notion of championship
being explicitly supported as a set of age groups is a recent addition to the program.  But your request makes perfect sense.
The typical situation is when a state is held together with a national, and state athletes that don't make the national standard end
up shown separately on the board.  We had that situation in Singapore a couple months ago when United Masters World Cup was
held together with Commonwealth Masters.

I will consider adding that feature in a future release.

Hi There,

I'm hoping you can assist with some challenges I'm having configuring the scoreboard in OWLCMS.

Firstly, for our standard competitions, I'm struggling to display multiple placings for different divisions (Youth, Junior, and Senior) all on the same scoreboard. I've tried various setup options but haven't been able to achieve this.

Secondly, I'm organizing a Masters competition in October that will run two separate competitions simultaneously. Not all athletes are registered for both. My goal is to show the placings for both of these concurrent competitions on the scoreboard. I've attempted selecting both or one in the weigh-in settings, which correctly reflects the selections, but the scoreboard won't display both competitions' results and their respective placings at the same time.

Any guidance or troubleshooting steps you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Grant

Hi there,

I did get it to work. Please see pictures attached. I set up two side by side and then deselected the category they were eligible for.

Is there any problem doing it this way?

That works because all your Masters are in the same 0-999 age group.   In which case medals are awarded on score and not on the raw total.

Hi Jean-François,

I'm wondering if there's a way to display only the age divisions relevant to the current session when running a Masters competition. Currently, all age classes are selected at the start and then appear on the age groups scoreboard.

Most sessions will involve one age group, with a few having two or three. This competition will run over five days, starting with the 80+ age group and working down to the 30s. I'd prefer not to display all age groups throughout the entire week.

I've attached an example with only one athlete selected. Would you recommend using the basic scoreboard instead for this situation?

In version 59.1.0-beta04 and beyond, you can now have multiple Masters championships side-by-side on the scoreboard.
In this example using edited data from the United Masters World Cup and the Commonwealth Masters from last June in Singapore, you can see that they are 3 awards
(world cup, commonwealth for some athletes, and a "best score for the age slice").

In order to set things up this way, you would export the age group defintions and create the categories for each championship.  You would set the championship name for all CWMF age groups to CWMF and so on.  And then re-import the Excel.

If anyone needs something like this and this is too cryptic, drop a message to owl...@jflamy.dev and I will lend a hand.

Hi Jean,

I'm trying to set up the scoreboard now and encountered an error when clicking on "multiple age scoreboard."

I've attached photos of my age group setup and the completed weigh-in sheet for your reference. Could you please let me know what I might be doing wrong?

All issues were resolved directly with Grant, and resulted in the much improved Multiple Age Groups scoreboard in version 59.1
