Mac Install - Rosetta

I did search the forum and found nothing.   I am upgrading from 53.0.2 and trying to install the Control Panel for the first time.   When I try to open the app I am told that I need to install Rosetta.   Does this make sense?

There is a single binary produced for the control panel, most people have Rosetta already installed, else they are prompted to install it like you are. For whatever reason I could not get the new M series version to work for all users (I don't own a Mac), but the compatibility mode works fine.
