Hi All

I’m in Houston. My name is Imelda Bettinger and I help run a local meets hosted by Wolfe Strength in Houston, Texas. I have done tech many times but it always seems different.

I was having trouble initially with the age groups and so we ran the meet on Saturday with just Open Female  and Open Male categories and Birth year.

Now when I’m trying to export the results for BARS, I realize that the age category is not being populated. I changed the meet settings to use the full birthday and updated those. I also updated any category that needed it. I did a fresh export and age category still isn't validating from the 2nd tab.

I was wondering if anyone knew the fix for this issue and how it can be prevented in the future.

Thanks

If you explicitly set the language of your setup as English US in the Language and System Settings, the Women category names are shown and exported using a W
When using the default English setting the women categories are shown using an F for historical compatibility.

The simplest fix for you is to select the column with the broken categories and do a replace of F with W and the BARS category lookups will then work.

Thank you so much! That worked! Seems every time I run a meet, twice a
year, things are always a bit different.

We have to pick our poison.  An expanding user base means an expanding set of needs, and meeting them occasionally break things
Sorry for the inconvenience.
