A new version of owlcms-firmata is available.
(This program is used to connect owlcms with refereeing/jury/down signal devices built using inexpensive Arduino chips -- see this overview. Firmata is the name of the communication protocol used).
The new version connects automatically on startup using the last working configuration.
If that fails, it will auto-discover owlcms if the network is small enough.

You can obviously set the address manually too.
Finally, devices will be activated automatically once the platform is selected.
The easiest way to get it is to install the owlcms-firmata control panel.
This is just like the control panel for owlcms, but for managing the firmata devices.
